The Marvin G. Shields Memorial American Legion was privileged to be the location where Naval Magazine Indian Island hosted its Change of Command Ceremony with outgoing Commander Todd Galvin and incoming Commander Robert Jameson. Special guests were Rear Admiral Mark Sucato, County Commissioner Greg Brotherton and other city, county, tribal, and state representatives.

Shields Memorial American Legion Post, and others (including three students from the ASB Student Group), demonstrate folding of the American Flag, while reading Thirteen Folds to the Student Assembly at the Blue Heron Middle School. They’d been asked to participate by Kelly’s daughter.
